Stobart Rail continue their Pendragon support

For the seventh year in succession Stobart Rail is extremely honoured to sponsor the Pendragon Stages Rally. We are also very proud to be associated with this event which has been built up over the years and is now one of the best tarmac rallies in England.

Last year's rally was fantastic and we were thrilled to see William Stobart, and his celebrity co-driver Shane Lynch from Boyzone, take the win. Shane really enjoyed himself and he definitely helped in attracting a bigger female audience to the event.

This year Stobart Motorsport's WRC activities have further built upon the success of previous years and Cumbria's very own crew of Matthew Wilson and Scott Martin are really starting to step things up a gear with more fastest stage times and much-improved overall results.

I hope all spectators enjoy cheering on the rally cars in action at Lowther Park's highly popular 'Spectator Special', as the competitors enjoy driving here and on the demanding military roads of Warcop Army Ranges.
