Pendragon Stages sponsored by Stobart Rail

Welcome to the Seventh running of the Pendragon Stages with continued support from our enthusiastic sponsors Stobart Rail headed by Andrew Tinkler and William Stobart.

This years event will be shown on the Race & Rally UK programme / Motors TV for 1 hour this Friday 23rd Oct 2009 @21:15hrs then repeated on channel 5 during the week

We have retained the 2008 format, based at the excellent Penrith Truckstop.

This year we have managed to reroute the Warcop stages to gain an extra 10 stage miles from this fantastic venue & they will continue to Include the mini yumps that have been successfully constructed to ‘soften' the speed bumps over the six long stages on the Ranges. Combine this with two pairs of fast stages in Lowther Park and the adjacent short, but demanding ‘Spectator Special' run twice in each direction, now make up 80 smooth competitive miles over 14 stages.

Following the successful introduction of the publicity ramp in 2007 we will once again be diverting the event through the centre of Penrith during the course of the day and for the champagne spraying at the finish. Our thanks go once again to Eden District Council for their support in making this possible.

We are pleased to retain the support of Various Regional Championships with PEC Tyres ANWCC Stage Rally Championship, Fostek ANCC Northern Stage Rally Championship, S G Petch ANECCC Stage Rally Championship, AS Performance North of England Tarmacadam Rally Championship, Beatson's Building Supplies Borders Stage Rally Championship, Hytorc Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship and the GPM KLMC Stage Rally Championship.

Entries are restricted to 120 and as the event continues to increase in popularity these are certain to be snapped up quickly, so get your pen and somebody's cheque book and send off an entry straight away.
